About us
Michelle and Carol have been close friends in ministry and life for many years. Both have been frequent guest speakers at University classes, professional conferences and have served as Retreat Leaders. They have written and co-authored several works including, "We Hold Our Stories in Blankets" in Women out of Order: Risking Change and Creating Care in a Multicultural World, (2009) and "Seeing Through American Indian Eyes" in Women With 2020 Vision, 2020.

Carol Lakota Eastin
Carol, an Ordained Elder in the Illinois Great Rivers Conference (UMC), brings experience as a local church pastor, a missionary, District Superintendent, Pastoral Counselor in Clinical Settings, and as a coach. A church planter, Carol was the founding pastor of a Contextual Native American UMC church, enhancing Christian faith with the unique cultural expressions of indigenous people. Carol loves the arts and history, sings and plays the guitar.
Carol has her B.A. in Music Education and Psychology from MacMurray College, her M.Div., M.A. in Christian Education from Methodist Theological School In Ohio and a M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Illinois State University.
